Please set up an international wire transfer. It is currently the only option to fund your account. Instructions on how to fund your account can be found in your Secure Client Portal.

International wires can take 3-5 business days to arrive. This does not include bank holidays, public holidays, or delays in processing at the sending or receiving bank. Upon receipt, your funds will be processed and deposited into your account. We will send you an email notification of the deposit and activation of your account.

For Active accounts, the minimum amount needed is 500.00USD.

For Standard accounts, there is no minimum account balance.

We recommend including at least another 15USD for potential bank and transaction fees. For more information on international transfer fees please Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) | Capital Markets Elite Group (cmelitegroup.com) or check with your bank.

We only accept wires that come directly from your personal account. We do not accept third-party or credit card payments.

If you are transferring payments from another currency, please convert the currency to US Dollars, GBP or EURO when initiating the international wire transfer. Transferring payments in other currencies may result in a reduction of funds due to currency conversion fees.

Your money goes directly into your trading account that we at Capital Markets Elite Group Limited hold for you, with your account number. While wire transfers can go directly from your bank to ours, in some instances banks will use an intermediary bank. Please confirm with your bank what is required before initiating a wire transfer.

Capital Markets Elite Group does not charge any handling fees for incoming wire transfers. However, bank charges may be deducted by the correspondent, intermediary and beneficiary banks involved in routing the funds to us.

There is a 15USD landing fee that is charged by the receiving bank. Other fees may be charged by the sending financial institution.
Please remember that your account minimum balance must be 500USD to trade. If you send a wire of 500USD and 15USD will be deducted by the bank, you will only have 485USD in your account and you won’t be able to trade.

For outgoing wire transfers, Capital Markets Elite Group charges a 60USD processing fee for all withdrawals from your account.

Please send a copy of your wire transfer confirmation or receipt to us at
clientservices@cmelitegroup.com.

It’s ok, it happens to the best of us. This might cause your wire to be delayed or even rejected. You can call us on +1 (829) 956-5161/+ 1 (829) 956-5164 or email us your details to clientservices@cmelitegroup.com.

To withdraw funds from your trading account, you need to submit the Wire Transfer Request Form. Internal processing generally takes up to two (2) business days. Please also allow an additional 2-5 business days for the wire transfer to be credited to your account, this is to cater for any delays in processing by any banks.

You are free to withdraw funds from your account after the two (2) business day settlement period for trades and deposits.

You have 30 days after receiving the account approval email to fund your account. If your account is not funded before the end of the 30 days, it will be closed.

You can send funds from any financial institution or service that can facilitate international wire transfers in USD, GBP or EURO.
We strongly recommend you reach out to your financial institution directly and verify that they will be able to facilitate this transaction.

You would have received this error message because your account is currently deactivated. This may be due to the account not being funded or the equity balance falling below the minimum maintenance requirement. This selection may change as you browse through different symbols. Therefore, please ensure that a default account is set for your montage window in making your trades.

To check shortable stocks on the DAS platform, you can go to the "Trade" menu and select "Short List".

You can enter the stock symbol to search for stocks you want to short.

The montage window would also indicate a shortable stock by an “S” under the anchor icon. If there is no ETB symbol, this means stock is not easy to borrow/shortable. If a stock is not ETB, then it is Hard To Borrow (HTB). HTB stocks can be shorted by locating shares using the Locate Monitor feature

To check shortable stocks on Sterling, the ETB (Easy To Borrow) symbol on the Sterling Platform indicates if a stock is shortable. This can be found on the status bar at the bottom of the montage window. Please note that the account field must be populated for the symbol to show.

If there is no ETB symbol, this means stock is not easy to borrow/shortable. If a stock is not ETB, then it is Hard To Borrow (HTB). HTB stocks can be shorted by locating shares using the Locate Monitor feature.

There are 2 ISPs that clients can use to connect to the platform. Below you will find steps to switch ISPs to connect.

Steps:

#1. Click ‘Setup’ then ‘Network’.

#2. Select another ISP that can connect to us.

Capital Markets Elite Group's margin stop out level on MT5 platforms is 50%, which means that if your account's margin level drops to or below 50% of the margin required, the system will start closing your open positions automatically.

Capital Markets Elite Group supports the trading of micro-lots. A micro-lot in MetaTrader 5 is represented as 0.01, which is equivalent to 1000 units of the base currency. If your account is funded in US dollars, this means that a micro lot is $1,000 worth of the base currency you want to trade. If you are trading a dollar-based pair, 1 pip would be equal to 10 cents.

New accounts receive leverage of 100:1. If you are an experienced trader looking for additional leverage, our Support and Compliance teams can evaluate your requirements and consider your request.

We offer variable spreads that can be as low as 0.8 pips. We have no re-quoting: our clients are given directly the market price that our system receives.

Margin is the required amount in the base currency of the trading account needed to open or maintain a position.

When trading Forex, the required/used margin for a specific position = Number of Lots * Contract Size / Leverage. Here, the result is originally calculated in the first currency of the traded pair and then converted into the base currency of your trading account, which will be numerically displayed on your MT5 trading platform.

The margin requirement for gold and silver is calculated as: Lots * Contract Size * Market Price / Leverage. The result will be in USD, which will be converted into the base currency of your trading account (in case it is not USD).

For CFDs, the required margin = Lots * Contract Size * Opening Price * Margin Percentage. The result will be in USD, which will be converted into the base currency of your trading account (in case it is not USD).

Margin level is calculated with the formula: Equity / Margin * 100%.

Free margin is your equity minus margin. It means the available funds that you use for opening new positions, or for maintaining existing positions.

If you're currently long, make sure you're looking at a sell chart (you can change the chart type at the bottom of the chart itself). If you're short, make sure you're looking at a buy chart. If you still feel the stop loss should have been executed, please contact fxtrading@cmelitegroup.com.

Please make sure you have considered any additional costs, such as overnight holding costs. P&L on CFD trading accounts is calculated in the currency where the product is domiciled and then converted into your account currency.

There is no trading commission applied to FX and CFDs.  You only pay the spread, the difference between the bid and ask. Overnight holding charges/rebates are applicable for positions held after 5 pm EST.

Market orders are submitted at the current market price. However, these may not necessarily execute at the price requested. The trader executes these orders with a volume and price offered by the CFD provider and they will be filled at the best available bid/ask for the size (volume) the trader is trading.
A limit order is an order to buy or sell at a specific price or better. A buy limit order can only be executed at the limit price or lower, and a sell limit order can only be executed at the limit price or higher.

The trader may execute using a pending order if they expect the market to go up or down but do not wish to enter until a certain price level is reached. The order will not be filled if the price does not reach this level.
MT4/MT5 offers six types of pending orders:
Buy Limit
Sell Limit

If closure of the account happened within six months of it being opened, you can submit your request to the Client Services team. You will be advised by email when the account is reopened. You can then proceed to fund the account.

If the closure of the account occurred more than six months after opening, you will be required to resubmit an account application.
